It was used as early as 1979 by Knots of May from Sussex for a Basque Garland Dance, and has since been used by Kirtlington Morris for the dance called - the Scottish Dance. There is a version of the tune in one of Dave Townsend's books where it is called - Dribbles of Brandy. Tim Radford |

The family lived in Bosham, West Sussex. The tune was included in 'A Sussex Tune Book' edited by Vic Gammon and Anne Loughran and published by the EFDSS in 1982, with music drawn by Martin Carthy. All the tunes in it came from Sussex manuscript sources. It's out of print but may reappear.
