Dave Ingle: you might like to try a search through the "Digitrad Lyrics Search" box at the top of this page for @drink, which will return several hundred examples of songs dealing with drink... (for further hints on searching the databases here, see the FAQ thread at the top of the thread list on the main Forum page.) Malcolm |

13 Apr 06 - 09:23 AM (#1717184) Subject: RE: English Drinking Songs From: sciencegeek Topic Records have re-released a number of album on CD & A L Lloyd's English Drinking Songs is one of them. I picked it up, plus a whole mess more from half.com - my new best friend for finding books & albums, 'cause out here in the "boonies", there ain't much if you're not into malls or Walmart. Of course, if you can actually buy from the performer - that's the best way to go. Cut out the middleman, but that's only practical at the festivals. And I only get to make a few of them each year. I love my livestock, but it's dang hard getting babysitters for the bulls. |
