Heidi Hi

I am back from my adventures on the IOW.

I cannot face my guitar - it's not calling me. I think it could be sulking 'cos I have been away and left it alone. Give me incentive music maestro.

I am now an expert movie maker, so watch out Morris. That should be interesting to film. I am planning the video transmission already. Diagonal fade in, sweep up and out - all in harmony with the dancing steps and waving.

Why don't folk clubs sell ice creams?

I am looking forward to Harvey on Sunday. Can I film and eat ice creams?

see you
Cathy, Coach Karaoke Queen.

ah The lead clapper is back in town,

How were the little uns on the I -o- W any sick on the bus?

i had a party of 30 kids from stevenage flying out to Canada and yes. one of them chundered, thankfully nowhere near my seat

he got round of applause as he eventually emerged - palish- from the little cubicle at the back, giving a very brave thumbs up to his travelling - non-chundering - companions.

the accompanying teacher was flying on a stand by ticket coming back and was able to sit in busuness class. I did offer to swap so she could be with her pupils but she politely declined my offer.
Theres responsibility for you !

see you sunday for harvey then

ice creams are a good idea, you can have the franchise for hot dogs too, club want 10% of gross takings, deal?

better still,

real ale ?

Hi John

Always an eye for a profit! I will investigate the no-crunch-while-people-are-singing-variety.

As for the coach - 2 pairs of sterilised gloves down - does that answer your question? It's amazing how quickly we can be sitting dozing one minute, then at that magic call, be halfway down the coach, gloved, bag and wet wipes at the ready within seconds. A smiling, reassuring, nurturing expression on the face and a 'You won't want any more of those sweets will you?' on the lips. swipe!

Did you provide any in-flight entertainment? (Somebody's going to write that will make them throw up - but not me)

see you
Cathy

you good teach you

helps having ad kids of yer own , it all comes flooding back, if not up.

Did you have air freshner? I had to throw my undr-arm can away before boarding.

I pitied the poor fellow next to the sickie, he too was sprayed somewhat by lateral oral anti peristaltic discharge, so he got served fisrt at the bar upon arrival!

Assure me it wasnt your clapping and singing that was the cause?

I did enjoy Duns Bertie. I achieved an ambition.

Also Tony told me about tomorrow's dancing from 8 til dark. He allowed me video rights.
He said we could bring things to shake - I will try to remember the bells Ross. How many?

I would have got there earlier but the journey took sooooo long. I kept to the ridiculously slow speeds and didn't get flashed once!

Last weds was a busy night, its getting that the pubs back room is on the small size for the crowds of people squeezing in, a bigger venue will be required soon.

Where's the local branch of the CAPO police, have to sing a bit lower without it then.

it's a pity you can't buy disposable capos (bio friendly of course).

How about a tattooooood capo somewhere.

Good old Tommy Roe

Best way to put names on things - a thick tippex line, let it dry, then write on it in biro. I have put your name on your capo for you - to illustrate what I mean.

Can name lunch boxes too. Bill and Ben. arrgghh - Rossesque humour attack.

I have had some problems

But it's very trendy to be disfunctional

God - I was dreadful at Redbourn on Thursday - I even managed to forget a whole song

And after I gave it a grand introduction

Never mind - it was a nice night, even though it was a bit hot

CATHERINE WAS A SENSATION - she sang one of her own operas whilst playing the cello

Keith is on at the Chequers in Streatly tonight

He is very good - don't miss him - all welcome

YOU WERE NOT DREADFUL - STOPPIT

OK you forgot half a line - and my offered suggestion didn't help.

But you just changed to one of the other 50 odd songs you have written with panache and talent. Singer song writers rule.

And you left them wanting more next time.

And that man in my book of Irish songs is still waiting for a bus.

Hope to see you at the chequers.
