07 Jul 06 - 03:16 PM (#1778407) Subject: Malcolm Hobbs St Albans England July 9 From: GUEST,St Albans Folk Music For those of you in reach of St Albans who won't be glued to the telly on Sunday evening watching men run around a field kicking balls of various sorts, St Albans Second Sunday has a real treat to offer you. As part of St Albans Festival, as well as our usual monthly series, we have an evening featuring two guest spots from Malcolm Hobbs, plus contributions from other singer and musicians in a singaround rather than floorspot mode. Owing to our usual venue being unavailable due to viewing of the above ball kicking activities, we are moving the event a few yards down St Michael's Street, St Albans to the Blue Anchor, starting at the same time, 8pm. Please pass the word around. |

10 Jul 06 - 10:00 AM (#1780309) Subject: RE: Malcolm Hobbs St Albans England July 9 From: breezy thought thats what had been underpinning the last 6 years !!! glad Mobbsie had a good evening, we had a very good evening too, though the lead clapper was with you, but did she strut her stuff? No hand outs here from the local tax payers or government this week Sunday 16th Harvey Andrews at the Comfort , 4 appearance in 5 years and each previous visit was a sell out, so dont tell too many this time, why not come a support a real Folk legend of England and see where its really at! All the best p s did anyone fall asleep! |

(well known quote from Nicky in BB for those who don't know) Thank Goodness. That takes the pressure off. A weight lifted from my shoulders. You can't pick up and drop clappers like the 47 bus. |
