Humbleton needs you! 3rd sept.

Our village is having it's annual fund raiser/rave up on SUNDAY 3rd September, and we need kindly musicians to do a spot on the village green sometime between 5pm to 10pm, there is a small PA and a couple of SM58's supplied by The Vicar.

The very lovely MUPPET has agreed to do a spot, which is reason enough to come along in itself!

The Vicar is also a professional ELVIS impersonator(yes really) and he will do his act.

Make a day of it,pop along and dine with Penelope and myself at The Chapel and drink your way through my extensive wine collection.

Marmite is also available.

What a pity that is Elteddo!!!!

It is my session at "Monks Walk" that day so it is unlikely I will be able to attend.

Thanks a million chaps! I can pick you and the frgarant one up and return you Les. The locals will be well impressed with this plethora of talent. Obviously I will sort the details out with you nearer the time. Penny will compose a luncheon of immense proportions, but I need to know if there are any vegetarians amongst you? Many unknown facts have gone unmentioned about Humbleton for years. In 1066 Humbleton had nothing what so ever to do with The Great Fire of London. The inventor of Blackpool rock once went to the toilet of the same person who once drove through Humbleton. Elvis has been reincarnated and lives in Humbleton not Mars as previously believed, please keep this a secret and tell everyone else to keep it a secret. Seven mobile phones now operate from Humbleton.

I'm dreadfully sorry, Ted old chap, but I'm afraid that we'll have to scratch from Humbleton's celebrations, as I've realised it's the Sunday of the Hull Shanty Festival. Apart from that Maggie is away most of the the day in Bradford learning to be an even better therapist. Hope the day goes well for you.

Very sorry to have missed this. We imbibed rather heavily at the Sea Shanty Festival on Saturday, so instead of taxiing into the wilds of Holderness at Sunday tea-time we kind of went back to bed. Perhaps next year we might avoid this clash of the East Riding's two major cultural events.

Glad to know that it went well, and I will be happy to buy young Ted a small sherry at tonight's Black Boy session (it's all go isn't it?) in partial compensation of our non-appearance.
