BS: Happy Birthday Rosie!

Today is Rosie The Wonder Dog's 10th birthday! Cosmo The Other Dog won't comment as he's put out that Rosie gets all the attention, and he's particularly busy at the moment rubbing his back on the floor and making stupid sounds.

Here's a word from the birthday girl herself, "kluhhkikiijujyhn nhjyu". I think it means, "Shucks". Now, having tired of her cyber communications, she's watching a light sprinkle descend from the sky over her dominion, The Backyard.

Anyway, happy birthday Rosie.

Peace, Mooh.

Meooooooooooow.

It's the only comment Raven cat would make... it could mean happy birthday, but then again it could mean 'get off that computer and go open the biscuits'.

I swear that Rosie has an understanding of humans better than many humans. She's a comfort in times of grief, ready for fun anytime, but prepared to be serious too. She loves me in a way that's a challenge to reciprocate because she's so unconditional. The cool thing is her character seems to be a huge influence on Cosmo (who's not yet one year old).

Good dog, happy man.

Peace, Mooh.

Dogs can teach us a thing or two about forgiveness too.

Peace, Mooh.

My greetings to Rosie, who finally figured out I was OK.

Phil, poor Phil, you're nearly the only breathing being who Rosie didn't immediately find droolworthy. From Rosie: "gfgfgfgfhhy", and from Cosmo, "hbn m bnnnnn". I can't quite understand them, but Rosie might mean, "Master, what the? Phil's the living end!", or something like that, and Cosmo's just being agreeable. They're now licking each other, so I guess they're finding each other agreeable.

Peace, Mooh.

Our Merlee, the suave and debonair McNab Border Collie, says, "Yawpy Whoofdee ter yer, Rosie!" He also wants to know if she'd like to walk on with him under the Western sky of Colorado. "What?! Merlee, mind your manners!!" (Sorry, Rosie, I don't know what came over him!)

Nice to have a happy pet thread...we have so many when they pass on, but of course those are very special and needed threads, too.

Peace, Love & Understanding through Pets' Owning Humans:-)
