Loads of inane chatter and glamorous, archeological bimbos pointlessly running about. What I want to know is, is there going to be any SERIOUS DIGGING??!! Just f..king well get on with it, that's all!!! |

They won't find anything that reveals anything about this bunch of inbred chinless cretins. eric |

Just finished a Caleb Carr "Sherlock Holmes" novel. "The Italian Secretary," which took place at Holyroodhouse. Is it pronounced "holly" or "holey?" kat |

27 Aug 06 - 05:26 AM (#1819890) Subject: RE: BS: Digging Holes Buckingham Palace From: GUEST,Shimrod Saturday's episode was just as annoying and completely devoid of any interest whatsoever. Who is that extremely irritating and manic woman that they've got covering the Windsor dig? Also I wonder, when they come to tidy up, they're planning to inter that smug Scottish git with the long hair in the completely boring mound in the grounds of Holyroode whatever-it-is ... hope so!! |

28 Aug 06 - 11:48 PM (#1821317) Subject: RE: BS: Digging Holes Buckingham Palace From: Big Al Whittle Its a funny programme all right. It reminds me of Tomorrows World. Its that terribly English vice of being 'nearly interesting'. You can imagine all these self consciously 'intelligent' families sitting there and watching it. At least with all this recycling - they won't be able to dig up much of our old rubbish. Personally I think it would be more interesting if they went to some old music venues - like where The Beatles and The Stones and Paul Simon, Bix Beiderbeck and Robert Johnson did their gigs. And tried work out what it must have been like. It would be more interesting - I seem to have seen that bloke in the rainbow jumper and Tony going bananas saying - wow that is amazing a piece of Viking flower pot! This is where Olaf the gladiator had his jacuzzi, you can see that line of mud was the wall - well too often! |
