In the absence of anything from Breezy, it's time to announce that St Albans (UK) Windward Folk Club reopens its doors at 7:30pm this coming Sunday 17th September for an 8:00pm start.

For a really special first night of the new season CHRIS FLEGG will be launching his new album, supported by the usual array of resident performers.

If you appreciate great songs, incredible guitar playing, and a relaxed but involving presentation, you'll love Chris.

See the club website for details of the future program. Next week Anthony John Clarke!

Come on! Where is everyone?

Doesn't seem like it will be worth Moses and I rushing back from Otley to be there at this rate.

(Only joking Fleggy, of course we'll try to be there!)

Hi Steve

I was hoping to come over

Will there be cake?

Should I wear clothes?

Ross

Get this cake idea out of your head.

The baker is on strike.

Well .... maybe one a bit later on. You will have to try coming every week in order not to miss it!

And what's this about clothes? No one told me about clothes.

If it's clothes then the colour theme this week is red and black.

Flegg's CD consists of 16 tracks, all original, its a very listenable album, some twists, and very accomplished musicianship complimenting melody and lyrics

And the subjects covered are broad and 'of the minute'

Political, social, narrative, humour, its all there.

Breezettes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please please can we also audition for the Rossettes and the Fleggettes and sing the songs of the Ronettes or even the Supremes?

Ooh Breezy love, my Breezy love
I need you, oh how I need you
But all you do is treat me bad
Break my heart and leave me sad
Tell me, what did I do wrong
To make you stay away so long

(Sorry to Christine and Hilary - I can get a bit silly after a night at the Bull in Barton)
