Top playing condition, recently restored by Andrew Norman. Quite possibly the best English you'll ever play. Norman's suggestion) Am open to sensible offers - might even be persuaded to p/ex your old English or Duet system. 01302 321087 or email jon@talkingcat.co.uk 'Tina is in S Yorks - You're welcome to come and have a play, take the ends off, have tea/biscuits etc. Cheers, Jon |

It should go to someone who can devote the time to playing her properly! Cheers, Jon (good luck with the lottery everyone!) |

16 Sep 06 - 09:13 AM (#1835949) Subject: RE: Amazing English Concertina for sale From: treewind Good concertinas were never mass produced. Lachenal introduced some mass-production methods, but I don't think you'll find that applies to their top-of-the-range Edeophone models. Hope yours finds a good home, Jon. Mary would have been tempted a couple of months ago but then fell in love at first squeeze with a 1914 56-key tenor treble that had just fallen into Steve Dickinson's hands. An overhaul and tuning from Steve and it's one of the best-playing concertinas on the planet. As seen (and heard) at festivals and clubs this Summer! Anahata |
