Chords Req: Tinkerman's Daughter (from C Fisher)

I have a great recording of Cilla Fisher singing The Tinkerman's Daughter. I love this song and want to add it to my repetoire. Have found the words in the Data Base but I'm not getting very far with either tracking down or working out the chords. Can anyone help me please??? Cheers, Elizabeth :-)

(In case there's any confusion or more than one song about Tinkermen's offspring, it's the one about the red-headed Anne!!)

Or even "the two about the red-headed Anne"! There was a thread about this some time ago also. Good look with finding the tune.

Regards

Check out Rick Lee's recordings on Waterbug.

It's in the DT. I searched for tinkerman* to eliminate any apostrophe problems and it came up twice

I heard it from Niamh Parsons. Here are the chords by the song's writer:

All the Cwee birds were lining the Fbleak autumn Gbranches
PreGparing to Amfly to a Dfar sunny shore
When the Ctinkers made camp at a Fbend in the Griver
Coming Gback from the Amhorse fair in DBallinaGsloe

Now the Gharvest being B♭over the Ffarmer came Gwalking
All aGlong the Faele B♭River that Fbordered his Dland
And 'twas Gthere he first Dsaw her twixt Gfirelight and Dwater
The Ctinkerman's Gdaughter, the Dred-headed GAnn.
