He was also a hell of a good guy, and a very good bluegrass musician.His sense of humor was drier than a baptist picnic. He wrote a song, a parody on Tonight the bottle let me down, that involved his wife and me. She is a loyal fan of mine. I'm gonna miss him at the festivals. Damn the grim reaper, I'm running out of friends. |

It's just that time of life that you lose your parents, friends, some old, some young to accidents and the dreaded diseases. I was once told when the Aids scare started, talking about percentages, "Life is a sexually transmitted disease with 100% fatalities", that just about sums it up for me. |
