I'm off to do a photo shoot late this afternoon.

Enjoy Fred Eaglesmith tonite Raptor ... saw him out here a year ago ... I enjoy his story telling more than his music, and I'm not saying he's a good music/songwriter cause he is ... had tears of laughter listening to him.

That would have been earlier in the week Bobad! :0)

today has mainly been lying around and reading a book - a rare treat. Tomorrow I'm doing something I haven't done in 20 years - Horse Riding!!! Eeek!

Yes but the horse probably has been practicing and will take good care of you.

Me, I did a laundry marathon today (should have worn the pedometer) and we leave shortly to lead the music for the Saturday Night Serivce at church. Probably some blues gospel tonight, as it's been a chilly, gray day here.

I spent some of the day helping Limpit tidy her room and a lot of the day wading through some Family History stuff... got another 2 generations back on one line and found some new info on more modern relatives. It's a year ago today my cousin was killed in a car accident. It's also today that my sister chose to get married again.

I slept in and woke up to the smell of fresh apple strudel that my husband had made for breakfast! How could the day go wrong?!?!?!? We spent the day at one of our favorite hangouts, I corrected papers, worked on Odyssey of the Mind stuff, started lesson plans for the week and had a nice dinner out on the town (Mexican). I'm just about to sit down and do some knitting. It's been a lovely day off! Had I known that the weather was going to be so decent, I would have found my way to a lake to kayak too! Hope you had fun!!!!

Michelle :)

Having dined on a beautifully prepared fried egg and bacon sarnie, I'm about to do some streches before sauntering off to get on a horse I can't actually see over........ :0)

After hacking through Epping forest, I will adjourn to a nearby hostelry with CatsPhiddle. It don't get much better......

Settle in in front of my 53' TV,
Watch some football,
Eat some bbq'ed back ribs and drink waaaayyyy too much,
I LOVE SUNDAYS.

Fitting for my Fabulous 1890's Festival Skirt
Home to take care of the homestead
Break time with popcorn made the old fashioned crank-handled way
Kayak time if the rain holds off

Our Sunday in Oz is finished, and a very pleasant one it was too. After the last two weekends of rushing around festivals, it was nice just to spend some time at home.

The weather was hot and windy, but we still had an enjoyable leisurely day, starting off with a sleep in, then bacon and eggs and fresh coffee, followed by a browse around Mudcat, a potter around the garden, and some late afternoon watering.

Then I picked a couple of lettuces from the garden and we took them and a good bottle of red over to John and Dale Dengate's place, where we had a lovely dinner, followed by some singing. As we walked out to the car, the night was still mild and balmy, and the wind had dropped. Now I'm back home and going to spend a little more time Mudcatting before going to bed. My kind of day!

Huh... the Gin Fairy cult meets and I'm not there.... Poo. Have I got to ride a horse to be invited?

Still... had a profitable afternoon.. vacuumed and shopped. Made pizzas for tea, had my first baked sweet potato (kumara type) for years and enjoyed it enormously.

Was going to make strawberry vodka, but I appear to have run out of vodka.

Or is it strawberries....

It's a wet, windy and blustery autumn day here today ... took the hounds out for a walk at Rockwood Park regardless .... now I'm doing work-work getting all in order for what is going to be a busy Monday. Monday, the beginning of another week.
