06 Mar 99 - 02:54 PM (#61596) Subject: re: Bringing Mary Home From: cripley@netcom.ca I am trying to find the lyrics and music for a song titled "Bringing Mary Home". It may have been sung by a country singer named Smiley Bates originally from Ontario Canada. The song concerns a young man who picks up a girl on the side of a road and takes her home. When he stops to let her out,she has disappeared. He is then told that she had died in an accident years before and that it was her ghost. Anyway if anyone knows this song I would like to hear from you. Thanks Carl |
