I remember him introducing his version of Django's "Tears" by saying that Django only had proper use of two fingers on his fretting hand, but that he usually played so fast that he only had time to use two fingers! |

From: Betsy He was a great player and probably still is , but things seemed to drift when he opted to go into the direction of a Chet Atkins type / electric guitar style, instead of ( what made him liked by the Folk following ) an acoustic style with open string / DADGAD etc types of arrangements .
