Origins: The Spider Murders

30 Sep 06 - 05:10 PM (#1847118)
Subject: Origins: The Spider Murders
From: Rev-vic

I heard the macabre song "Spider" by Cindy Black on a radio station and was shocked that not only has Ms Black gotten away with murder but this cold blooded woman has the audacity to publish a song about the murders she committed. The public needs to understand this ghoulish person is not the wholesome country girl she is masquerading herself to be. I think this black widow has taken things too far and the public needs to know that she makes a mockery of the darkness she has caused. I find this song to be very morbid and in bad taste, it sends shivers up my spine.

When Cindy Black attended Central Michigan University she fell in love with another student and they dated in 1987. She caught him in the act of cheating and murdered both him and the poor girl , just like in her song. Both students were reported as missing and never found. She confided in close friends and all was dissmissed as rumors. She deceived everyone including law enforcement officers. She was never arrested since there were no bodies found. To this day, of course, those bodies are still missing.

I know Cindy Black and her family and they are all a bunch of insidious people. I find it no wonder she could be such a ruthless person with her upbringing. Her Mother was arrested for assaulting a county official and it's all a matter of record. Her maternal grandfather W.E. Vernon shot Cindy's brother in the leg when he was around the age of 5 simply for the reason he decided to runaway from his vicious grandfather. Incidentally,in the 1960's, W. E. Vernon was also under some suspicion of murder in Oklahoma regarding a female horse trader. This story was in "Detective" magazine.

I know that she has dabbled in studies of hypnosis and subliminal messages. She spoke of putting subliminal messages in the song "Spider". I don't have the equiptment necessary to pull the song apart in that fashion, therefore am not certain if she has done this.
Please contact me if you are able to find the subliminal messages in her song it would help me in proving my case.

Rev. Prentice*, the writer of the initial post said "not only has Ms Black committed murder but ... publish a song about the murders she committed."
No charges were brought by the police and no evidence of her involvement in the disappearance of the two people has been brought forward.
"...and her family are insidious people..."
another statement open to court action.

James M. Black, 1856-1938, who wrote the well-known hymn, "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder," belonged to that family (see Cyberhymnal).

No responsible newspaper or other organ would publish these allegations without stating that they were submitted by an individual of uncertain bona fides with regard to the charges he makes. The allegations should be disowned by Mudcat.

Plum Jam

Two kilos (Victoria) Plums
Two kilos granulated sugar
600 or so cc water

First thing is, stick a couple of saucers in the freezer to get good and cold - you'll need them later.

Stone the plums. I find cutting a cross on each side makes this quicker with plums that aren't squishy and ripe. Stick them in a large saucepan.

Save about ten of the stones, crack them, take out the kernels and blanche them by boioing them up with a little water for a few minutes, so the skins just slide off. Cut the kernels up small and add them in at soem point - they contain a little cyanide I gather, but not enough to hurt you and they improve the flavour.

Add the water to the plums, and boil away on a ,lowish flame till its reduced by something like a half. (Judge this with a wooden spooon, see how high the level comes when you stand it upright.) Skim off the cruf that floats to the top with a spoon or something.

Transfer to a larger container That's to reduce the likelihood of burning the pan), mix in your sugar so it melts in, and boil faster till it starts looking a but syrupy. Check whether the jam sets by putting a little on those cold saucers from the freezer and seeing if it stiffens up as it cools.

Meanwhile stick the jam jars (or whatever) you are going to use in the oven for half an hour or so to sterilise them.

Spoon the jam into the jars, and stick the top on when they have cooled.

In case the oroginal post wasn't too clear, here it is simplified a bit:

Heard death Rahim "SPIDER" Wright "on the radio station that has shocked and Mrs." became far in this war, killing and brutal woman with the nerve to publish a song about murder and the commission. And the public needs to understand this person Golley unrelated girl country is to be the same command. I think these black widow has taken things more and the public need to know that making fun of darkness Valley. Find this song to be very sick and in bad taste, and giving the tremors over the column. When I saw Black attended Central Michigan University and our love and another student and dated in 1987. He was arrested in the fraud and kill all of the poor, girls only, and in Egypt. All the students were unaccounted did not find. AIPAC close friends in all the Dismisid and rumors. All of this to deceive law enforcement officers. That was not arrested any bodies there. To this day, through these bodies, are missing. I know I saw black families and were 64 thousand people. I do not surprising that the presence of such a person with compassion and education. Her mother was arrested on assault and official in each district is known. The mother and brother of the Jeddah bequele Wright shot in the leg when he was in the age of reason, simply because he decided that stems from the brutal Jeddah. Incidentally, in 1960 H, and also referred to some doubts in the case of the murder with a female horse trader. This story was in the "informant". I am from Michigan and live here and I never knew she was wanted for murder. She seems like a nice quiet girl wouldn't kill a fly. I think her music is great and I own one of her CDs. I listened to this track #10 backwards and found it to sound scary, but the part where she says, "did you see him cheat on me" played backwards sounds like "he's naughty and he's sleeping". I don't know if that means anything.

I listened to her song, out of curiosity. I have to say I really liked the song. It reminded me in a way of the Twa Corbies, equally morbid, and telling a story from the perspective of a non-human bystander.

As for the reverend's opening post...I googled his name and found a wealth of interesting and scandalous stuff. Now I know you can't believe everything you read on the Internet, but it sounds to me like this guy thrives on stirring up mud - and he seems to have had quite a bit of it chucked in his direction.

I copied out the lyrics to the Spider song:

Spider on my windowsill,
Watching me, watching me,
Are you getting such a thrill?
Watching me, watching me.

As I take my shower here and wash the blood away,
You just sit there, oh so still with nothing to say…

Spider on my windowsill,
Watching me, watching me,
Spin your web and then sit still.
Watching me, watching me.

Did you hear that bloody shrill? I am just like you;
Bet you didn't think that I had a dark side too…

Spider on my windowsill,
Watching me, watching me,
Did you see me make the kill?
Watching me, watching me.

Did you see him cheat on me in my own bedroom?
Now he can be with her sharing the same doom.

Spider on my windowsill,
Watching me, watching me,
Are you getting such a thrill?
Watching me, watching me.

Did you hear that bloody shrill? I am just like you;
Bet you didn't think that I had a dark side too…

I tried to research the singer and all I could find was that the CD is a self-released tyoe thing and that she caught some flack for doing such a song after recording some stuff presumed to be gospel. One review of this song is below:

>>>If Norman Bates wrote a psychedelic pop song with a Latin fused rhythm and George Harrison played sitar, it might sound something like this. Cindy's spine-tingling musical crime suspense thriller "Spider" has been released by Poetman records. You will enjoy this adventurous cut with real creepy harmony vocals to send shivers up your spine.<<<

I'm thinking maybe there is some personal beef between this Rev. and Ms Black and he's reading waaaaay too much into the lyrics. of course, unless he forks over the names of the students he allages to have disappeared in 1987, nothing will come of this.

Two cds are currently available through amazon.com and other retailers (but cheaper from cdbaby.com). Cindy Black label, as noted by Dave's Wife:
Like Dave's Wife, I did some listening (Nasty, slanderous posts do create interest, don't they?).
On her website, www.cindyblack.com, she tells how the song "Spider on My Windowsill" came about. "This came to me in the shower. I just saw a spider and began singing the chorus of the song. I envisioned it to be more like an Aerosmith tune... During a recording session at Woody's (Woody Black) the two of us created the rest of the lyrics. Before this song hit the internet, I was hit by criticism. I was compared to Marilyn Manson, told that the song was not my style, and that it was like an orange couch in a blue room. I like all forms of music and don't want to be put in a box, ... just happen to sing country music better than anything else."
Woody Black made a "spooky Halloween video" for her webpage (no longer available).

Cindy Black has a strong, clear voice, reasonable diction, and clear guitar to light rock backing on the clips at her website and elsewhere. Not my favorite music, though, so I won't add the cds to my pile.
Cds available:
Hear Our Cry.
Country Girl. Contains "Spider."

I am back again to tell all of you, I spoke with Cindy's brother Brian on the phone about this. And he set the record straight with me on this whole thing. The Black family all still live in parts of Michigan and Woody cut her CD's at his studio in St. Louis, Michigan you can see his webpage at www.woodyblack.com but Brian said Woody is too much of a straight shooter to put any "hidden" messages in the music. Brian made two music videos of the spider song the first in 2000 and the second in 2006. He told me that she has had many unhappy love affairs but none of them are dead that he is aware of even though she had motive. I asked about Vic and he tells me that the family hasn't spoken to the man for sometime since their mother died April 2005 and he accused them of beating her to death or something like that. She passed away in Cindy's home. He also tells me that Rev-Vic aint no reverend just uses the title to scam people. He hasn't lived in Arkansas for the past three years now, the man moved to Texas and bought a hotel and I did a seach and found his address; PO Box 477, Sudan, TX 79371. I have much respect for Cindy and her family and her music. None what-so-ever about the holy Victor. And in closing I asked Brian about the origin of this song and if it holds any truth, He said it was made up on a whim but the Bigfoot Song is 100% truth you can look it up in the archives.

I've had my own dealings with someone who was, in my estimation, stalking me (by mail and phone - not in person) because of my music. He wasn't malicious, like the Reverend, but his attention was still unwanted and somewhat scary. It is a disconcerting and very unsettling feeling.

Does anyone know if Lazurus was litigious?? ) He's been the plaintiff in a numer of lawsuits that were later dismissed or found in favor of the defendent.

He is/was a "priest" in the Old Catholic movement who has had disputes over various incorprated churches in that movement. Whether or not he is in the right is impossible to tell since the folks who complain about him are pretty strange themselves. His churches in the past are Orthodox in terms of theology and seem to be associated with Sede-vacantism. I said seem - his writings don't spout the typical Sede-vacantist arguments mel Gibson's Dad likes so much. Victor Prentice looks reasonale when compared to that.

I believe after doing much research that it would be safe to say that all parties to this dispute are part of subculture rife with infighting and multi-generational fueds which all stem from fractured churches and arguments over who still is a real Christian/Catholic or not. Real healthy stuff.

Victor Prentice never posted to this site. He does not involve himself in such matters. When we received news of a bogus posting he had died we did a search and found this site and the link to another site.

Victor is presiding bishop of a small canonically established Orthodox group that is recognized by the Roman Catholic's and the Episcopal Church.

Many in the independent movement had been upset by him and the Church. They won a trial judgement for defamation and harassment from a father monty in Hot Springs, Ar. on 2004 and Monty fled with 3 warrants pending for his arrest. The Metropolitan filed copyrights and servce mark documents on the Church name, logo, website and other materials. This helped slow the lies some in the independent movement published on the internet claiming they were this Church under a different name and so on.

As for your posts about Cindy Black, Victor has had no contact with Cindy in many years - probably the late 197's and she was very young. He does not know the ages of Cindy and her brothers again because he had no contact for many years, until the parent stopped by the Arkansas residence on their way back to Michigan from Texas in April 2000. He spoke to the father a few times via phone after that and lost contact since.

None of the posts on your site were made by him. Any further posts attributed to him will also be forged as he does not post to such sites and does not use a computer. The Chancellor of the Church does the computer work and I handle most of his correspondence the past few years. He also did not live in Arkansas in 2006.

Its always nice to know what your talking about when you want to attack someone for something they have not done or because ou think you jave the facts.

As I said before - it's very hard to know what is what with this group and its various splinter groups. There are many internet postings by someone claiming to be Victor Prentice to a wide variety of sites over the past few years and sadly, the posts are usually of a contentious nature. The post that started this thread is consistant with those other posts. Now either someone is imitating him or it is him - not for us to decide. If someone is imitating him, they are doing it in other places as well and it is for the Rev. or Bishop to look into it on his own.

It was also from the Independent Movements own organizational pages that I found the Obit for Victor Prentice. Father Paul shouldn't get mad at me or others for reporting that. instead, he should correct the mistake with those who made it. (Note, I just checked it it appears that this has been done. See update here: Independent Movement Update)

Based on the back and forth from Cindy's family and the other posts all over the Net, I'd say that it's unlikely we will ever know the real story here. WE can only hope that such fueds stay where they originated. The Mudcat is the victim here. Someone decided to use this forum to further their case against Cindy. Not very Christian of them if you ask me.
