BS: Interview with Joanne Lees.Your thoughts

Just watched a B.B.C. interview with Joanne Lees, the British woman, notable for being the girlfriend of Peter Falconio, 28, at the time of his disappearance on a remote stretch of highway near Barrow Creek in outback Northern Territory, Australia on July 14, 2001.

I found the interview has not changed my mind that there is still something strange about the whole case. She admitted having an affair with another man while they were travelling in Austrailia. I think she knows more about this case than she cares to admit. She is now Writing her Book. What are your thoughts ?

Potato Soup

2 lbns potatos
3 pits milk with a splash of milk in
handgful of porridge
large onion
a tablespopon of butter or something like that
A teasopoon of salt or so.

Chop up the poytatyoes as small as you reasonably can.

Cut up the onion small, and throw in the pot with the butter. Melt down and cook a few minutes - but don't start frying.

Add the milky water. As it boils add in the poridge and the potatoes and salt.

When it's boiled a few minutes stick an electric mixer in and whirr away till it's pretty smooth.

Keep on a lowish flame for maybe 20 minutes.

That's it. (You could chop up some watercress if you had some and put it in around the same time as the porridge. And maybe a couple of carrots chopped up small. Improves the look a bit, and the flavour.)

What concerned us out here in OZ was the fact that the dog could not find her as she hid behind a bush in the desert not far from the vehicle at night.

Agreed something not right about it. She is hiding the truth. Family of the victim want nothing to do with her. The guy she had the affair with could not be located for weeks, and his story was different to hers. In all the press conferences I watched she showed little or no emotion. I always felt she knew the guy who was charged with the murder.

I think there is more to this case than it seems. Apparently Joanne Lees wouldnt allow him to stop to check out a serious fire along the highway but was happy for him to stop for a strange van she noticed following them and insisted he stopped.
She has stated she heard Murdoch drive away, but still hid for five hours(wouldnt it have been damn cold in "the bush"),how far can you run into the bush with your hands tied behind ,so that someone -with a dog-cant find you? No more than 100 yards Id say.She was close enough to hear scraping sounds, but yet not close enough to be found!

At press conference she wore a pink vest top, with the slogan 'Cheeky Monkey' across the chest, totally acceptable attire for someone trying to gain public help for a missing / murdered boyfriend.

BUT, why not take part in the initial police press conference, but take part in one later demanding a hair stylist and her choice of new clothes be supplied ?

Garlic if you like. But I like to keep things simple.

That doesn't look like enough butter. And I normally use cream instead of milk in soups. The porrige is dry and not left over cooked stuff - right?

Mr Guest
If you had been paying attention you would have known that th "Cheeky Monkey" shirt was the only clean shirt in her backpack. The pigs had not given her any help in that area, and in fact not much help at all.
The killer Murdoch was found guilty due to very strong evidence.
The fact that she enjoyed a casual bonk with someone other than her boyfriend is irrelevant and nobody elses business.
You and your ilk are motivated by "scheudenfreud" go ahead and look it up (I've even bloody spelt it for you).

Dry porridge, stirred in - it makes the soup creamier. Maybe that's how I find it doesn't need any cream, and only about a cup of milk.
