12 Oct 06 - 05:29 AM (#1856583) Subject: RE: New Session in Wandsworth From: GUEST,Hootenanny Just bear in mind that Youngs Brewery in Wandsworth is now closed. The beer is no longer brewed at Wandsworth but by Charles Wells. Will it taste the same ? Hopefully so as Wells's Bombardier is certainly more than acceptable. Sorry, am I going off thread? |

12 Oct 06 - 09:02 PM (#1857380) Subject: RE: New Session in Wandsworth From: Girl Friday This is the first I've heard about Youngs Brewery closing. It was one of the last breweries still delivering locally by horse drawn dray. They used to draw water from the River Wandle, so it ought not to taste the same. I was never keen on it anyway. |
