Great to meet up with regular mudcat correspondent Martin Ryan and his wife Josephine. There were some great sessions John and Tim Lyons playing together was a rare treat and the wonderful Eamonn Brophy turned up for the sunday lunchtime session. What never ceases to amaze us though is the ammount of talented musicians in that part of the world. Mary Staunton, Breda and Clare Keville and Liam Lewis were all musicians we came accross for the first time over the weekend all were superb. In the opinion of Tim Lyons Liam is Irelands best kept secret. Well he can share that title with Eamonn Brophy All in all a wonderfull weekend and congratulations to the extremely hard working orgainisers Anne Fox and Mark Green. Peta Webb and Ken Hall |
