17 Oct 06 - 06:47 PM (#1861667) Subject: Need ceilidh fiddler Manchester 21Oct From: Skipjack K8 All the usual violinists for the musical collective known as the Black Diamond Ceilidh Band have absented themselves this Saturday (21st October), and we are in a bit of a muddle for a wedding ceilidh in Disley this Saturday. Having been frightened near to death by the excellence of violin playing in a pub session in Manchester, I'm sure there must be a fiddler at a loose end prepared to turn out for a reasonable purse on Saturday, but I don't know who they are. Any of our Mancunian brethren who could put me in touch with a suitably disposed fiddler? Please PM me |

Steve can't actually do the gig, but he has put me in touch with a lady fiddler (who is also a merde chaud accordionista) who has kindly agreed to play for us. Good old Mudcat does it again. |
