18 Oct 06 - 04:36 PM (#1862544) Subject: RE: White Horse Ceilidhs - Autumn Ceilidh From: the lemonade lady I used to work as a groom in East Lockinge for Henrietta Knight. She's a bit famous now I believe! She used to have a minor bird that wolf whistled when she got on her horse in the stable yard. Dya live anywhere near her? Also my memories are that we rode past Richard Adams house when he was writing Watership Down. He used to sit infront of the window, typing. Sorry deviation... sal |
