Hmmm. the song that comes to mind has this chorus:
We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when,
But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day.
Keep smiling through, just like you always do,
'Til the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away.
Complete lyrics are in our Digital Tradition Folk Song database here (click).
Is that the song you're seeking?

My other guess would be Somewhere (click), from West Side Story:
    There's a place for us
    Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
    Wait for us
    Somewhere...
I think it's got the phrase 'we'll meet again' implied somewhere....

:"Goodbye, goodbye, we'll meet again, somewhere, sometime, tatata..."

Said by David Bowie in one of his videos.

Oh, OK - I'll squeeze David Bowie's name into the thread title. It's not the usual type of song we handle here, but we do our best with everything. check this thread occasionally over the next few days, and I'm sure somebody will come up with an answer.

Poss sounds like a Dudley Moore song:

Goodbye, goodbye, were leaving you, (silly words)

Surely it's not this one ?
