One of the finest songwriters in the traditional style with lovely North East lady Anni and both fine singers

Dave and Anni used to be locals down here till they moved Ooop North
and tey are stll sadly missed , despite their occasional trips 'Darn Sarf' - Totally reccommended to all who enjoy good singing and well crafted songs .

John and I were fortunate in receiving their CD "Unity" from them a little while ago because they recorded John's song "Bring Out The Banners" on it. John loves their treatment of the song! It's a ripper of a CD - we play it a lot!

I've never seen them live. I wish they'd come to Oz!

MoorleyMan,

Music session usually lasts until 9pm, but on guest nights it finishes at 8:30, then singing. You won't miss any of the main act unless you turn up after 9pm.

the music session is fun, easy tunes and all welcome. If you don't play an instrument bring a kazoo or paper and comb

A good night had by all I reckon

Very passionate enthusiastic singing and some new material too from W & F

Barnsley club room just about right to get some brilliant chorus singing harking back to the heyday of traditional based clubs

Nice support too from our 'house band' of Sarah, John Platt and Dave Bottomley with Elizabeth on flute

Time as ever was the only draw back!

You said it all Ray - a brilliant night, just how a traditional club should be, and thanks to you and the club for organising it.
Cheers,
MM
