Her "Meat Stinks" campaign didn't win her many fans in her community of Consort, Alberta. The beauty of k.d. is her wondrous voice and singing ability, she takes a back seat to no one. As a matter of interest, the town near which I live - Avonmore, Ontario - is her ancestral home, there are many of her relatives who still live in the area. |
