Ted Schafer-where is he today

My first guitar lesson was from the co-worker of my friend's father. Jim Cox and I decided to start a folk trio with my brother Gary in the early 60's. His dad said that a froend of his knew a lot about folk music and he took us to Toronto to visit him in his office. He taught me the Carter Scratch on guitar and taught Jim the Seeger strum on banjo. He also introduced us to Sing Out! magazine and told us about a folk festival that he and a bunch of people were working on. Thanks to him we hitch-hiked to Orillia for the first Mariposa Festival.
I haven't heard much about him since, although I did see a picture of him jamming in his living room with Pete Seeger, Ian Tyson and Sylvia Fricker in Hoot! magazine.
Does anyone know where he is today and if he is still involved in music?

I too would love to know what he is up to. I saw him perform around Toronto many times. I can't imagine him not still into music. It is a habit hard to break. I'm sure someone here will have some knowledge of him.

I think I'll refresh this since I'm sure Duke & I aren't the only ones who've heard of Ted.
