The Connecticut Sound

A new tunebook called The Connecticut Sound - a Conntra Collection of Reels, Marches, Hornpipes, Rags, Jigs & Waltzes comprised of 91 tunes by 20 CT composers, is now officially published. This book was edited by Mickey Koth with assistance from Dan Hocott, and five tunes written by myself are included in the book. Check it out: http://www.conntras.org/conntune.htm.

I am so psyched, not only to have my tunes included, but also to have a collection like this from CT musicians. I have a great fondness for my home state and am proud to see this book published.

Yay, Connecticut! Yay, Mickey!

Is this what they call C&E? Country and Eastern?

Melinda, yes, I believe it will be available for sale at NOMAD. I know that Mickey Koth will be there playing for dances with her group the Wild Notes.
