The first place I visited was a folk club in Soho, the name of which a escapes me; anyway, Ravi Shankar was the guest and he was introduced by A.L.Lloyd. At the end of the performance, I thought I'd have quick word with Ravi. While I was waiting in line to speak to Ravi I overheard a chap asking Ravi what religion he followed. Ravi replied, " My music is my religion". I was vey impressed by that reply! |
