14 Mar 99 - 10:52 AM (#62972) Subject: Lost Potential From: Gilly There was once a very gifted and talented guitarist, composer and singer called Rob Naylor who lived in Bromley, Kent, England. I have one of his demo LP's recorded in the early 1970's. As far as I know he never recorded anything commercially, a great loss to the folk music and guitar world in general. He died aged 23 in 1977. I had a reel to reel tape of all the songs he ever wrote stolen. Has anyone ever come across anything by him or have any unofficial recordings. He played in a lot of folk clubs around Kent and did concerts with Ralph McTell and Wizz Jones. You had to hear him to appreciate him. Any help gratefully received. -Gilly- |
