Lyr Req: Someone is Out There

Have just stumbled across this site and it looks excellent! Will have to investigate more whn I am not at the mercy of a cranky Swiss hotel internet connection as I currently am :)

Anyway. I hope someone can help me with not just the lyrics, but the tilte and artist of a song that I remember once being played on Essex radio as a record of the week by a DJ called Lynsey? in the early eighties.

The lyrics are along the lines of...

Someone is out there
Someone who loves you
Though you don´t know their name
Both of your lives
Move closer, you don´t know
Now, just how close you came

Somewhere in my attic I have an old C90 tape with a few songs recorded off the radio in those times ( I know...consider my wrist slapped). This was one of them, a very melodic song, but because I used to always hit the pause button before the DJ came in (always used to be very important to me that :) ) I have not, to this day got a clue what is was called or who sang it.

Anyone know out there?

I've been looking but I haven't seen it yet. Any ideas as to singer/group?
