He can open up a boil, pour salt all over it, and make you think how damn great that is.......and smile during the pain. The music itself is the same as the the lyrics in that both bore deep in the depths of places where we don't always go for fear of seeing too much. Yeah......I like him............... Spaw |

Here is the link to his website Randy Newman Once on the website, click on Performances and then Webcasts and you will be able to listen to a whole load of concerts of his. I always liked Birmingham as I used to change the the lyrics to Birmingham Birmingham the greatest city in En ge land and drive my missus bonkers singing it. Well I can't help it if I was born in Birmingham England. Listening to Great Nations at the moment. Must admit I would like to see him live. |

'I Think it's Going to Rain Today' Broken windows and empty hallways A pale dead moon in the sky streaked with gray Human kindness is overflowing And I think it's going to rain today Scarecrows dressed in the latest styles With frozen smiles to chase love away Human kindness is overflowing And I think it's going to rain today Lonely, lonely Tin can at my feet Think I'll kick it down the street That's the way to treat a friend Bright before me the signs implore me To help the needy and show them the way Human kindness is overflowing And I think it's going to rain today G. |
