I've been searching on the web without much success for several days now. I'm hoping to record "Song of Artesian Waters," which she wrote the tune for (and has now been folk processed to the Nth degree - but it's still her song). I do like to receive permission before recording a song, however, and to know where to send the royalties. For those unfamiliar with her music, Cathie O'Sullivan is a wonderful Australian folksinger and player of the wire strung harp. You can pm me - my official mudcat name is Dan Schatz - if you have the conact information. Or, if there's a manager I can talk to, that'll work to. Thanks to everyone! Dan Schatz |

I bumped into her in the Snowy Mts town of New Jindabyne in early 1983 and heard no more of her until Cathy appeared at the (Australian) National Folk Festival in Canberra ... about two years back. I think she is now living in, or around, Canberra, but I don't have any direct contact - however I did arrange sound (amplification for her harp) at the normally acoustic Loaded Dog Folk Club ... run by Mudcat's "Sandra in Sydney" ... later that year (?). Sandra must have been in contact to book her for the Loaded Dog Folk Club ... so perhaps a PM to her might get current details. Regards, Bob |
