I don't know if this has been posted here or not, but the following is from another forum. Acoustic Friends is a social network for acoustic musicians - I just joined...seems like a nice place - MySpace without the noise, maybe. Check it out if you care to:

acoustic musicians, fans, and others that have an interest in

music of Singer - Songwriters.

That link didn't work. This one does.

I note that Mudcat doesn't feature in any of their links pages. An oversight, or a deliberate choice?

Looks as if it might be quite interesting - but maybe just a little a bit placid for Mudcatters.

Well, McGrath, there is always the danger of a "King of Hearts" scenario developing if Mudcatters are let loose, 'tis true.

I have only just signed up there, so who knows what it is all about. It does not seem the kind of place that would snub the Mudcat on purpose.

It's interesting, but they want my full name, e-mail and password before I can get even one glimpse of the action.

Yep, sort of like signing up for Mudcat. (ok, address is optional, but there is nothing to say you can't put Anywhere, CA or something)
