We did a couple of his numbers at the Tuesday sess last night (I did "slippin and slidin" so I could count it as a Buddy Holly number too!) R |

06 Dec 06 - 07:11 AM (#1901420) Subject: RE: Little Richard's birthday (5 December 1932) From: JennyO I have a history of having been serenaded with Little Richard songs on more than one occasion. When I was 11 and in primary school, my first boyfriend used to sing "Tutti Frutti" to me. Some years later I got "Jenny Jenny Jenny" from another boyfriend. Only natural I suppose, considering my name. |

Now I can go to bed buzzin' to the echoes of Jeery Lee, Chuck B. Buddy H. Fats & Lil' Richard. Lifted my spirits. |

You can find some wonderful gems but you gotta sift through a lot of mud to get to them. I guess "mud" isn't the best term for "junk" to use on Mudcat. But you know what I mean... I hope you feel better soon! Azizi |

Can't recall the title of the album, but it was, as usual with LR, great. |
