Here's what my sister, "bet," the retired elementary music teacher who is now teaching elementary music full-time in Alaska (!) said in her request to me: I just called the company that I bought the CDs from and they say they are discontinued. They only do computer stuff now. I bought them from Merit Audio Visual in New York. They have changed their name to Merit Softwear. I've called them and they didn't have any idea where I might get the CDs. or even who the publisher was. Thanks for any help, folks. I did find one listed with a company in Canada, but when I checked back it said they'd deleted it from their catalogue, I assume because it was sold. Same story on ebay. Found one listed on google, went to ebay, it's done gone.:-( Thanks a bunch! |

If they need a member's name for any reason, feel free to drop mine. |

15 Dec 06 - 01:33 AM (#1909989) Subject: RE: Need LPs or CDs Young Peoples Folk Dances From: Desert Dancer There are some good current resources on the topic: Folkstyle Productions for international material, New England Dancing Masters for more American/English style stuff, Marian Rose's Community Dance Project has a variety, as does Homespun Occasion's "Peel the Banana" collection. The first 3 sets of folks will keep you going a long time. ~ Becky in Tucson |
