I was really impressed when I managed to get him to switch off his backing tracks. They are good too tho because he's actually backing himself apparently. He also came to an open mic run by one of the chaps I sing with. John Eyre runs this in The Inn on the Avenue in Brecon. Howard Bragen was on his own just with a guitar and he blew the audience socks off! I thought his jazz, rock and blues were a pleasure to listen to. Btw I also saw Blakes 111 again this week, but that's another 'fred' if I remember correctly. Sal |
