I heard it on a free podium in the Sunset Bar in Puerto Viejo de Tamarindo (Costa Rica), It's about a woman drinking rum and doing the cooking and the cleaning (or not doing it anymore after drinking...). Anybody has an idea if it exists on CD or even cassette tape? It's a beautifull song. it was played by a local group on wed 25 oct 2006. Thanks!! Carl |

The lyrics to the Caribbean song "One Solja Man" were posted on that thread in October 2011 by Q. As cited by Q, that song was included in the 1951 book Folk Songs of Jamaica Oxford University Press.
