Fortnums and Selfridges win hands down every year, although kids (big and small) will love Hamleys. Covent Garden and Tower of London Ice rink at night win it for me this year. |

21 Dec 06 - 09:12 PM (#1916296) Subject: RE: BS: Fortnums Windows From: Sandra in Sydney our office Social Club runs a Chrissy decorations competition & my colleagues performed Alice in Wonderland. Naturally our Assistant Director, Alice starred as Alice. We had a marvellous Caterpillar with hookah (who looked & sounded very far away & off in his own world!), a very Mad Hatter, a clock-carrying Rabbit, 3 soldiers, a very haughty Queen & lots of decorations by our resident artist, Sonja. She copied playing cards onto giant cardboard posters (also worn by the soldiers) & also drew giant teapsets! The place looked great & the judges were impressed, giving them 2 awards! I've sent the London link to work for their enjoyment. |
