22 Dec 06 - 05:46 AM (#1916504) Subject: Tech: Firefox helper apps: where's the choice? From: Paul Burke When a file type is associated with a helper application, such as PDFs with Acrobat Reader, I used to get a choice when download started: to open with the app or to save to disk. Now it always opens with the app. I've searched the settings for the helper apps, but there doesn't seem to be any relevant control there. Any idea where it's gone, anyone? |

I think if you then opt for "Ask me every time" in the firwst panel of the dialogue box, you will get where you want to be. You may wantto have a look at the third panel too. |
