Dana Bourgeois, who preceded Thompson as a partner with Eric Schoenberg, has an interesting article on tonewoods at www.pantheonguitars.com/tonewoods in which he also refers to adirondack spruce as the "Holy Grail" of top woods. I have a few instruments with adi tops and they are really special.vl P.S. Nice arrangement of Shebeg and Shemore played by Mr. Thompson (I guess) at the end of the piece. |
