Shirt Wars that is so last year mate.
Any how the only place I can get big enough shirts has let me down recently and cant get the loud ones .
Doh!
Besides it isnt the shirt its what is in it that counts and you would win whatever you were wearing.

I went out for the first time yesterday, thinking it was getting better. However it has come back and half the night was spent coughing and spluttering & sore throat again. Its a gripper this one.

er...never mind loud shirts, is it more appropriate to go for the full hospital anti-lurgy gear so we don't all catch this bug?!!
Will someone else tell me who the Men of a Certain Age are, seeing as Villan is being very silly indeed? :-)

Dont worry about it Wooky I am sure they will be of the usual standard but probably of a certain age.
So we will be subject to V's germs if we go on Friday?
After all the anti smoking comments,
I am sure he would never turn up at a public meeting laden down with bugs knowing he was going to share them with everyone else.
That would be most anti social wouldnt it?
Hope you recover before then mate for all our sakes.

'Sew' you are still 'needling' for a battle. I have your 'measure'. I have you 'taped'. Once I get you into that body 'scissors' you have no chance. One 'thimblefull' of my blood will not be wasted and I will be happily 'bobbin' around. But worry not, your injury will 'knit' together nicely and will not be 'plain'. Are you in stitches yet?

Anybody listening to Radio Lincolnshire Folk tonight would have heard that Andrew Tiffany is on, on Friday.

That is not correct and once again communication seems to be breaking down. Never been the same since Mark Addison stopped doing the diary. Bring back Mark :-)

The line up as mentioned before is

JET Skiffle & Blues
Stitherum
Wild Wolds Women
Men Of A Certain Age

Great night, thanks everyone! Was a really varied night and it seemed to fly past.
Special thanks to G and T doing the PA.It is a really time-consuming and thankless job. It makes all the difference for WWW being able to perform songs as we wish so we really do appreciate their hard work lugging all the gear, setting it all up, doing such a good job and then packing it all away again etc etc
Sorting so many different acts out to make sure they sound right,is skilful work and tonight, as always, they did brilliantly.
Great turnout, too. Thanks everyone, had a great time.
