Lyr Req: Virginia Belle (Stephen Foster)

In reading the current thread, "Gentle Annie", I am reminded of this Foster song, which is lovely, and again a lament for/paean to a deceased child.

Does anyone have the lyrics, and hopefully the tune to this song?

Dave, the song is "Virginia Belle."

Lyr. Add: VIRGINIA BELLE
Stephen C. Foster

1.
Fairer than the golden morning,
Gentle as the tongue can tell,
Was our little laughing darling;
Sweet Virginia Belle.
Chorus:
Bright Virginia Belle!
Our Dear Virginia Belle!
She bereft us
When she left us;
Sweet Virginia Belle!
2.
How we used to roam together
O'er the mountain, through the dell,
In the smiles of springtime weather,
Sweet Virginia Belle!
3.
She was lythe as any fairy,
Winning hearts with fairy spell,
Tripping with a footstep airy,
Sweet Virginia Belle!
4.
While her life was in its morning
Came a sad solemn knell,
She was taken without warning,
Sweet Virginia Belle!

Score is at The Melodies of Stephen C. Foster (1909) (pp. 243-244).
