Anyone know who wrote this? I used to sing it a lot, and never did find out the author. Chorus goes

If wishes were fishes, I know where I'd be casting my net on the dark rolling sea And if my net's empty when it comes back to shore I'll throw it away and go fishing no more.

I forgot to add that the lyrics were posted last November. Do a forum search for "wishes were fishes" to retrieve them. It's a good song to sing if one is depressed. I used to sing it a lot.
