That particular one is from a Wilburn Brothers show. The song that Sam and Kirk are doing was a fairly recent composition, Wheels. It had been recorded by The String-A-Longs and by Billy Vaughn in 1961, and has been covered by other groups many times. So if you live in the US, and have access to DISH or DirecTV or one of the cable systems that are starting to add RFDTV to their programming, then I would suggest monitoring the guide for these old gems which pop up with regularity. Many of the old CW performances that I have seen on youtube came from the Wilburn Brothers, Porter Wagoner and similar shows. |
