I'm looking to add an a/e to my collection (so I won't have to use a soundhole pickup on my Martin on occasion)without spending too much cash. Musician's Friend has all three of these models for $299.99 (just for the guitar, case or other accessories extra). That's a pretty good price for an a/e with a recognizable name and they all seem to be rated pretty highly by past customers that chose to input reviews of the products. Oh, before anyone suggests I go find one at a music store and try it, I've called around and the stores here that carry Epiphones don't stock these a/e models. Of course they'll order one for a $25 to $50 deposit against the purchase price but if you don't buy it, you'll lose the deposit as a "restocking fee". It's a racket if you ask me but that's another story for another day. Anyone got advice???? SC |

Go ahead with your purchase. |
