Tech: Refreshing Mudcat threads

I tried refreshing threads for 180 days and then a year, but I can't get anything earlier than 19 January 2007. Am I missing something?

It's best to use a filter on a large request like that....perhaps your computer is choking?

I'm thinking Jeff put a 1,000 thread cut-off on it, since that's where it stops.

Thanks for the link, but that site doesn't have anything more recent than Feb 2006. I'm looking for a thread about a possible Canadian Mudcat gathering. I think the last posting was in Nov 2006.

This one?

I put canadian in the filter box and set it for 1 year. A handful of threads popped up and this was among them.

Yes, you need to put a word in the filter box that you think was in the thread title, to cut down the number of threads shown - because it does seem to only display 1000 threads. I noticed that a while back.
