Lough Gartan is traditionally said to be the birthplace of St. Colmcille/Columba. |

My Mum & Dad were great friends with him & once when we were visiting him in Peebles The Corries were at his house. He also taught my sister yo play guitar. Lovely friendly man. I'm sure he also wrote The lyrics to the Black Douglas Brian Ritchie |
