29 Mar 99 - 03:51 AM (#66632) Subject: RE: Wanted: Authors of several songs From: George Henderson Nenagh Singers Circle Sean Mone, I'm not sure if that spelling is correct, wrote The Transit Van which is a satirical song concerning EC grants available in SouthernIreland and not in Northern Ireland. Sean writes a lot of political satire which is extremely funny. He comes from the borders between North and South, possibly Fermanagh. I was in his compnay this weekend at the Iishowen semainar on traditional song and he sang a very funny song about Trimble withe a pimple on his bum. Quote - How can I sit in negotiation with a pimple on my bum. unquote. I don't know of any of his recordings. Hope this helps. |
