Sounds good. Dave and Bill are worth the trip any time.

Mick is booked at Miskin for Easter so sadly we won't be able to make it but anyone who can get there is guaranteed a fantastic time.

I've not been to your Barnsley sing since the year Murf had his Campervan broken into and had to try explaining to the Police what a Bodhran was! Also known as the year Landlocked reminded us all why indoor camping is a dangerous and especially noisy game!
There is potential for me making it.

I've heard from Les and Carys that the singing has been great, but Murf's campervan was broken into again - as was their own (and also, I think, Carole and Andrew's), so they've driven home overnight with the side window missing ....

not Carole and Andrews, they were indoor camping but one of the northern lads. Sorry but as he came late we weren't introduced. We only lost the Cd player also my little carry case of folk CD's which I am now going to have to try to replace. Anyone got a spare copy of My Lady of Autumn. We are otherwise OK and hopeful that Les can write a song about it.

Yes very sorry about the thefts and break ins I am having very serious thinkings about continued use cannot have someone looking after the YM security so future usage there in doubt

May move to the Keel Inn much more room and campervan and campig space other than that would have little or no campervan space

Othe lad is Brian Colley from Hartlepool ~ he has had his van broken into 4 times recently!! not just at Barnsley

Yes it was a great weekend singing-wise and excellent company.

What a pity about the thefts, couldn't have happened to nicer folks.
But don't blame yself Ray, you and Johnny did a fantastic job organising the weekend.

It was indeed an excellent weekend of songs - what a fine collection of singers and musicians gathered there over the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing from everyone who performed. It was indeed a shame that some selfish yobs spoilt things at the end but that certainly wasn't the fault of the organisers.

Hope you do find another, safer venue Ray - we'd love to come back on a regular basis.

Up to date just had a phone call from YM premises manager who is very concerned at spate of incidents and knowing him he is likely to take very firm action ~ he is going to police station tomorrow and he reckons he know who it is thats responsible!!

No real consolation for inconvenience but remedial action is in place and hopefully we can iron out one or two other problems which have surfaced too

The Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher session on Sunday and survivors was well attended and very well appreciated too

Thanks everyone for your support and I do hope too many are not detered from coming back to Barnsley

Enjoyed everyones company and songs (between the pints!!)
