Here are a couple of photo's of Jacqui at Gainsborough Folk Club.

And there was me thinking she came along for the music :-)

Forgotten who Jacqui was doing this for. I don't think it was for MR Red, but it was a mudcatter and it wasn't for Kendall :-)

And she sang a fine version of Utah Phillips' 'Wings of Morphine' - to huge applause!
A great evening and good to see you again Jacqui.
Apologies for ducking out at the end without saying farewell - old age and tiredness got the better of me!
Hope you have a good fourney home, and give my best to the Big Guy!
John

This one is for Moses and I have to finish it in time to present it at Herga on Monday evening so I hope that Allan Taylor won't mind if I keep going tonight while he's performing.

It's not so easy to do the work at my daughter's house. There is this six year old imp who wants me to draw with him and have pillow fights and watch Raiders of the Lost Ark with him cuddled into me and...........

Good to see you again Jacqui and to manage a little chat this time.
See you again tonight at Faldingworth.

You could sit on the stage with him and be his percussion Jacqui. :-)

Yes, she does that very well. Not to carp, but the title is "Miner's Lullaby," and Utah did write the lyrics, but Stecher and Brislin did the melody.

My understanding of the thing she was making was that it is her dress for our gig at Sinsull's in May.

Peter.

Thanks Peter, wondered if I'd got the title right. Never heard of Stecher and Brislin though.

Yes, well, we don't mind sharing her now and then, just don't forget to send her back. We miss her. Going to Good Will without her just isn't the same...

We told them that we had to up her meds and now she is barely coherent. Funny - they weren't surprised.

Thanks for letting me hold that now famous shawl in the pic, Jacqui!
I'm now going to have to get my crochet hooks out and see if I've still got the knack.

Safe journey on Thursday(?)

Hey Villan and Sooze, I understand you both had a problem with acid reflux? did it ever get bad enough to rob you of your voice?

My new speech pathologist is convinced that this is why I don't have a voice.

I don't like chocolate so the Easter Egg went to my daughter - I could just imagine what sort of state it would be in by the time the baggage handlers had got through with my luggage!

Sorry I can't get to your gig Hilary - a prior engagement at Herga got in the way.

Note to self - must perfect the cloning technique for future trips....
