For anyone in Lincolnshire and South/West Yorks/Notts area. Walkeringham Folk(acoustic) Club has its first birthday party tonight....usually well attended and a variety of music and of course food tonight....worth a visit if you have the time. In the Brickmakers Arms with around 8.30 start. Suggest bring snack food for finger buffet.

Not heard of your club before, but I am happy to learn that you have survived your first 12 months, something of a rarity these days. Well done, I hope you have a good birthday.

There was a guest group tonight called 'One trick pony' who were excellent......first booked guests at the club but who knows, there may be more in the future. The whole evening was good...first half singaround and second half the group.

Sorry, couldn't attend. I was out Friday and Saturday nights and all day Sunday. Can't afford another divorce (she might want the guitars!).

Happy birthday Walkeringham.

Wish I could have been there, but it was just too far from Shepperton and I went to the Herga 44th birthday party instead. You're in good company, anyway.
