13 Mar 07 - 09:42 AM (#1995311) Subject: 'Boys' by The Ditchflowers-it's a beauty From: closet-folkie I'm not sure that many would consider The Ditchflowers a Folk band, but the song "Boys" from their album "Carried Away" was a finalist in the Folk category of that John Lennon Songwriting Contest thingy, so there's a folkiness there somewhere, I suppose, albeit with a McCartney-ish/XTC-ish bent. Either way, it's a corker of a song (innocence, childhood friendships and all that good stuff), and well worth a listen. I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts on it.
